Founded in 2007, Mask Family specialises in face masks, exploring Chinese botanicals and modern biotechnology through ingredients, formulations and mask materials. From mung bean clay masks to sheet masks, cream masks and everyday skincare, our in-house research and manufacturing bring a curiosity about nature into daily care.

A joint laboratory was established with the National Engineering Research Center for Nanomedicine at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
Joint laboratories with Jiangnan University and Guizhou Medical University, alongside strategic collaboration with West China Hospital, Sichuan University, expanded ingredient and basic skincare research.
A joint laboratory was established with Moutai Institute to research brewing yeast and its applications in cosmetics.
Guangzhou Yuehui Green Beauty Innovation Park opened in Guangzhou Baiyun Meiwan.
In August, researchers collected fermented dairy samples in Tibet, connecting field exploration with strain screening and fermented ingredient development.
Based in Guangzhou Baiyun Meiwan, we connect laboratory work, formulation and manufacturing through an in-house development system. Facility figures are as of April 2026.
Based in the beauty and health industry park in Guangzhou Baiyun Meiwan, the centre occupies three floors with 14 functional research rooms. A research management system tracks formulation progress and connects ingredient studies, development and evaluation.
The production base includes batching, emulsification, resting, bottle washing, filling and packaging workshops, with 13 fully automated lines connecting formulation work to manufacturing.
Research into ingredients, formulations and mask materials has produced a portfolio of 43 core patents and more than 1,000 in-house product formulations, supporting the development of different skincare formats.
Opened in Baiyun Meiwan in 2024, Guangzhou Yuehui Green Beauty Innovation Park connects green biomanufacturing, ingredient development, formulation, production and sales services.
01 / BOTANICAL ORIGINSFrom camellia seeds in Shuangjiang Village, Hengyang, Hunan, to Houttuynia in Puma Village, Anshun, Guizhou, we work with local farmers to explore botanical ingredients, connect ingredient research with formulation and contribute to rural development.
02 / SHARING CARESince autumn 2024, Mask Family has held community skincare education events for women and company employees. Alongside conversations about everyday care, we take part in community support, environmental initiatives and cultural exchange.
Ingredient exploration begins where plants grow. We visit different regions to explore botanical resources and build a foundation for ingredient research and future applications.
In Shuangjiang Village, Hengyang, we have worked with local growers on camellia seed sourcing, exploring the journey from botanical origins to skincare formulations.
In Puma Village, Anshun, we have explored Houttuynia cultivation and ingredient applications, connecting botanical resources with formulation research.
Our botanical journeys in Yunnan and Xinjiang, alongside the Chinese botanical exploration programme, have supported the collection, study and development of regional plant resources as sources of skincare inspiration.
In August 2025, Mask Family researchers travelled to Tibet to collect samples of yak yoghurt and other fermented dairy products for study at our Guangzhou research centre. Field exploration, strain screening and green biomanufacturing form a connected pathway for developing Bifida-derived ingredients.

Through skincare education, community support and cultural exchange, we share care beyond our products.
Since autumn 2024, Mask Family has held offline skincare education events for women and company employees, bringing practical conversations about everyday care into community settings.
Past initiatives include donations to frontline pandemic response efforts, support for medical workers and supplies for border service personnel at Khunjerab in Xinjiang. We have also participated in the Water Blue Run for ocean and water-resource awareness.
Our Summer Palace collaboration brought Chinese garden aesthetics into product expression. Participation in Guizhou Village BA also connected us with the energy of rural sports and cultural exchange.
In a Xinhua interview featuring Guangdong brands, Mask Family shared its innovation and development journey, opening a window onto beauty research and product development in the Greater Bay Area.
Participation in the 27th and 28th China Beauty Expo provided opportunities to share products and research. We also contributed to the 2023 Cosmetics Industry Blue Book, joining wider conversations about the beauty industry.
Past participation in the Beijing International Film Festival, designer fashion weeks and music festivals, alongside collaborations with IPs such as Cloud Dress and B.Duck, has brought the brand into varied creative settings.
